Key Aspects
- 100% of the target beneficiaries are women;
- 80% of the targeted beneficiaries are Adivasi women who are affected by food insecurity and marginalisation;
- Preparing Family Development Plans (FDP) for every target BHH with income generating activities at the centre;
- Education, health, nutrition, access to rights and public resources, livelihood opportunities and constraints are the other major components of the FDPs;
- Distributing productive assets as a grant through reinvestment process for at least twice during the project period;
- Ensuring social services for quick impacts on income and nutrition with a broader rights-based approach;
- Developing skills of the beneficiaries and linking with the market for diversification and increased household income;
- Applying participatory techniques to unlock the individual and collective potentials of the target group;
- Implementing with partner NGOS such as ASHRAI in Rajshahi;
- A saving scheme component has been added in order to build resilience to shocks and stresses.
Outputs
- Increased BHH income;
- Reduced vulnerability and risk to loss of productive assets;
- Established functional groups by extreme poor women at village and union levels;
- Shared experiences to development actors and policy makers.
